• Across all 314 companies we analysed, we found that the average emissions per employee (excluding outliers) was 6.29 tonnes CO2e.
  
• ‍The financial services industry has 65 certified companies, which is the most companies out of all analysed industries.
  
• The legal services industry has the highest average emissions at 3867 tonnes, closely followed by the financial services industry at 3842 tonnes.
• 54% of financial services companies have offset over 1000 tonnes of carbon emissions, with 7 of these companies offsetting over 10,000 tonnes.
• Within the financial services industry, the banking sub-industry has the highest average emissions.
• The accommodation, tourism, and food industry has the highest average emissions per employee at 27.36 tonnes.
• The Climate Active certification process involves: an annual licence fee, a third party validation fee, calculation fees for assessing carbon emissions, and offsetting fees. 
• The annual Climate Active fees for certifying a single organisation ranges from $840 for a small organisation to $19,384 for large certification with over 80,000 tonnes of Co2e.
